This year we went back to our much loved outdoor stage and activities program much to the delight of all the children. Although much of the early morning the skies opened up with heavy rain, we resisted to move the event indoors and thank God that most of the event stayed rain-free. Although not a perfect sunny day, we did not cancel any part of our program, including guest VIPs from local councillors and local police.
Each year we like to change things up a little bit and this year was no different. Hope Church’s dance team captivated all the attendees, even the parents got in along with the fun. Kids learned new skills and had a ball of a time! In between stage programs, our live band consisting of singers, keyboardist, cellist and guitarist performed very engaging carols and tunes.
And who doesn’t love sweets? So many of our volunteers came together to creatively bake over 500 cupcakes!
Thank you to all volunteers who prepared all the activities before and during the event. All the hard work from the logistics team setting up the marquees should be commended. Well done.
