Unidus Community Centre had the pleasure of hosting one of the funniest men on Saturday, 13th October 2018. It was a simple night with our classic background lighting. The organisers opted to included catering served from our commercial kitchen as well. It was a lovely 2 hour show, and was the definitely the best laugh going on around town!

As Wikipedia says Amit Tandon is an Indian Standup Comedian spreading laughter across the Globe. A leading comedian in the industry, who’s based at India but winning hearts globally. As you all know the major reason for being popular in his audience is his humor from day to day life, which he is converting into comedy and making people laugh.

I was very impressed reading about him and would like to share it with you all as an introduction to this leading comedian is known as “The Married guy “.

Amit Tandon being a Mechanical Engineering & MBA from IIT Delhi and while running a successful and a leading recruitment consulting firm decided to explore his old interest- COMEDY. His stories on middle class, husband & wife, current affairs make his jokes more interesting and funny. Amit’s humour is universal – connecting with all segments of audience, be it middle aged, young-at- heart to young college-going crowds. And now, he is a well known Humorist & Professional Standup Comedian.

To connect with large audience Amit launched Grandmasters of Comedy, a company focused on bringing comedy to the corporate world. Amit performed over 1200 comedy show in all the major cities in India. His comedy has a strong appeal not only in India but across the globe. He has done 50 international shows across 12 countries – US, UK, London, Melbourne, Thailand and Singapore etc. Amit was also responsible for bringing a popular comedy face-off show of Singapore, Fight Comic to India.

He also hosted a weekly show “ Sannu Ki” on Radio City91.1 for a year with Savita Bhatti. Amit has started TV journey with CEO’GOT TALENT telecasted on CNBC TV 18. He is the first comedian featured on NDTV, rising stars of Comedy. He hosted the New Year Show on Doordarshan in 2014.
